"for all those whose cares have been our concern, the work
goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and
the dream shall never die"
goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and
the dream shall never die"
I must confess that I have been very moved by outpour of grief, gratitude and acknowledgement for the late Senator Ted Kennedy. I was particularly struck by his words (above). They capture the essence of a person committed to endure in the battle to right many wrongs. These words also are an invitation to carry on with the Kennedy legacy.
Thank you, Senator, for showing us that we do not need to be perfect to do good. And for inspiring us to continue on your footsteps and the footsteps of many who have blazed the trail of social justice, peace and civil rights for all.
